- Account data: email address and name when you create a free account (via Clerk authentication).
- Chat history: questions you submit to the AI assistant, stored to improve service quality.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used — via Google Analytics (anonymized IP).
- Technical cookies: session tokens, language preference, usage limit tracking.
- Checklist progress: tasks marked complete, saved to your account if signed in.
We do not collect payment data. All paid services are coordinated via WhatsApp.

- Providing the AI assistant, FAQ library, tools, and relocation resources.
- Managing your account and saving your progress across devices.
- Enforcing free usage limits and managing premium access.
- Improving platform quality through anonymous analytics.
- Compliance with applicable legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis (GDPR)
- Contract performance (Art. 6.1.b): for registered users using platform features.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f): for anonymous analytics and service improvement.
- Consent (Art. 6.1.a): for non-essential cookies, when explicitly provided.
5. Third-Party Services
- Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosting. Complies with EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- Clerk Inc. (USA) — authentication and user accounts. Complies with GDPR. See Clerk Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic / OpenAI (USA) — AI responses. Your questions are sent to the AI API to generate answers. Providers do not train on your data by default (API usage). See their respective privacy policies.
- Google LLC (USA) — Google Analytics with anonymized IP. Complies with EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Data Retention
- Account data: until you delete your account.
- AI chat history: 90 days for unregistered users; until account deletion for registered users.
- Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics standard).
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR (EU/EEA users) and equivalent laws, you have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of your personal data.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: request deletion of your account and data.
- Restriction: restrict processing in certain cases.
- Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent at any time for cookie-based tracking.

ReloGuide is not directed at users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
